What is SoulPath Work?
SoulPath Work is a name I’ve given the body of work I’ve been co-creating with Nature Intelligence since 1996 when I was first aware of my ability to communicate with Nature Intelligence. (If you want the long story about what I mean when I say “Nature Intelligence” and how I came to be able to communicate with them, check out my blog, where I’m posting excerpts from the second edition of my autobiographical guidebook due to come out in Spring 2020). In short, SoulPath Work is an approach to organizing available resources to assist in getting the client’s most important needs met, in ways that are holistically and ecologically sound and that help with more than immediate concerns, but also set a course that is most beneficial for future whole systems balance.
What happens in a typical session
Step 1: Get clear on what you want to accomplish.
This can be straightforward and clearly articulated for some, and for others, gaining clarity is the heart of the work. That’s because for some of us, we were encouraged to know what we want and go after it, while others were made to put others’ agendas ahead of our own. This can take some unwinding as the “shoulds” and “have-to’s” get dismantled and your authentic desires become more conscious. Sometimes this clarity is all that’s needed; other times, there’s something stopping you from doing or having what you say you want, so we move on to Step 2.
Step 2: Get clear on where your commitment is to yourself to have what you say you want.
Again, this can be completely straightforward, and, some of us can discover a hidden unconscious agenda to keep us from having what we say we want. Very revealing! Discovering and bringing these unconscious agendas out in the open, and having the opportunity to bring them up to speed with our whole Self is powerful work in itself and could easily be all that we do together to help you come into deeper alignment with your authentic desires, which will position you to accomplish what you want much more readily (or to re-evaluate what you thought you wanted and to set a new, more fulfilling course).
Step 3: Dive In
When the above steps don’t free up the energy enough, I offer several approaches that help to bring your energies into deeper alignment with what you are wanting, which could include emotional release work, intergenerational healing, transmissions from the Guides with specific instructions that could help you break through old patterns, and hypnotherapeutic trance work to elegantly and effectively address issues in ways that can sometimes seem miraculous.
Step 4: Putting It All Together
If you’ve gotten this far and want to do more work, it’s going to be about helping you to accomplish what you want through the means you have available, plus any methods I can teach you that will put you on a course of being fully autonomous in your own exploration of your power to co-create what you want to experience, and this is my ultimate goal for all of my clients.
Step 5: Co-Creative Collaborations
While empowering co-creators is the ultimate goal I have for my clients, co-creating a new version of a collaborative society is the ultimate goal for my whole body of work which includes music and art, social activism and a general shift in consciousness from fear and separation to unity and love, which is, to me, so much juicier than any of the alternatives.
Collaborative partnerships can be as simple as networking and sharing our enthusiasm for each other’s work, and it can be more involved like co-creating a community resource, or making a way for dealing with a challenging situation or another community member’s difficulty. Simple or elaborate, I believe that this kind of collaborative society holds the key to turning around many of the current planetary challenges and could make the way for a better experience of life for generations to come.
